The district’s flagging tourism industry is set to get another boost with the resumption of Air India flights between Kullu’s Bhuntar airport and Delhi on 15 April. A few days ago a Manali-based operator, Himalayan Bulls, launched air charter services to Chandigarh, bringing much-needed cheer to hoteliers, taxi operators and others associated with tourism.

Confirming the development, YK Sharma, Airports authority of India director at Bhuntar, said Air India would continue its flights if the weather remained good.
