Badal says unaware of Barnala joining SAD

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has said that he was not aware of any plans by former chief minister Surjit Singh Barnala of joining SAD and his knowledge on the matter was limited to media reports.

Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has said that he was not aware of any plans by former chief minister Surjit Singh Barnala of joining SAD and his knowledge on the matter was limited to media reports.

In college to inaugurate the first Rural Science Congress, organised by the Indian science Congress Association, at the Dashmesh Girls College of Education in Badal village, he also said that the state government never indulged in political vendetta.

"The Congress is indulging in propaganda by claiming that the government is targeting PPCC chief Partap Singh Bajwa. I always believe in morality in politics. It was rather the government of captain Amarinder Singh which registered politically motivated cases against the SAD workers and leaders," he claimed.
