Undeterred by the response the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has received in Punjab, chief minister Prakash Singh Badal took a dig at the AAP terming it as a new shopping 'mall' or a 'shop', which has been attracting the people, who wanted to visit this 'new mall' only.
"It is human psyche that people get attracted towards a new thing. However, AAP is only a water bubble, which will flatten after the election results," Badal said, for the first the time after the elections.
After attending a commemoration ceremony of Jaswant Kaur Dhaliwal, mother of cabinet minister Surjit Singh Rakhra, Badal said that people had trusted and voted AAP leaders during Delhi elections, but has AAP reciprocated in the same manner in Delhi.
"At that time, it was only a new experiment after their failure, but it will be interesting to see how many seats AAP would win in Delhi," he said.
Meanwhile, raising questions over authentication of videos uploaded by AAP on its Facebook pages regarding distribution of money in Faridkot constituency, Badal said "no one can even dare to distribute any money, even if one wants to do, due to strictness of the election commission. These are all bogus things and motivated by other parties to defame SAD-BJP leaders."
Speaking over promoting BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, instead of banking upon their development projects, Badal said these were national elections and the post of a chief minister or mayor of any corporation could be affected by its results.
Centre responsible for anti-incumbency wave
Alleging indifferent attitude, Badal held the UPA government responsible for the anti-incumbency wave against the state government that witnessed during the electioneering process.

Badal said the anti-incumbency wave erupted after many of the contestants decided to take up local issues instead of talking about bigger national issues during the elections.
"During the past seven years, the SAD-BJP government had received limited funds from the union government for construction or laying down of new sewerage lines, water supply and construction of roads. It won't be possible for us to adequate arrange money without assistance of centre government to rectify civic issues of the people", he said.
Sharpening the attack on the UPA government, Badal said during their stint during the past 10 years, the UPA government has given step-motherly treatment to Punjab when it comes to providing better and advanced health institutions and agriculture research centres.
