Teachers working under education guarantee scheme (EGS) on Sunday climbed atop a water tank at Goniana town of the district and demanded regularisation of their services under Punjab government.
State committee member of EGS AIE STR teachers’ Union Punjab, Gagan Abohar said, “Punjab Government is working for the privatisation of education sector and is not paying heed to our genuine demands.”

She said that they had climbed atop water tank on Saturday morning and would remain their till the approval of their demand.
