The party's candidate for Lok Sabha elections, Harvinder Singh Phoolka, said, “Our agenda will include drug-free Ludhiana, so that precious lives of youth can be saved.”

While moving ahead from Clock Tower to Chaura Bazzar, Field Ganj and Gurdwara Dukhniwaran Sahib, the “Jharru Chalao Yatra” gave surprise to the shopkeepers as well as visitors to the market.

Supreme Court lawyer Phoolka said their main agenda was to weed out corruption and to form 'swaraj system', but as the youths were becoming addicted to drugs, they would also fight to stop the menace of drugs at the same time.

Shopkeepers were seen coming out of their shops when the party members were raising slogans “Na paise se na darru se, button dabbega Jharru se”. The party members created awareness to oppose misuse of money and liquor in elections and appealed the residents to press the button for 'Jharru' on voting machine, while the residents also gave good response to the drive.

Ajay Mittal, AAP convener, Ludhiana, “We are getting a good response during the “Jharru Chalao Yatra”, which makes us to understand the local issues of people, so that we make efforts to redress their problems. We are Aam Aadmi (common people) and people are connecting with us. We will go to other parts of the district in the coming days.”
