This is being seen a first incident in which police have collected footages from a CCTV camera installed outside a factory in which bike-borne men were seen (not clearly) arriving at the spot and staying there for a few minutes.

The police suspecting their role behind the sacrilege are trying to trace a migrant captured in CCTV camera. As per footage procured by HT, a migrant on cycle with a bucket was seen moving towards the spot at 6.16 am but he suddenly stops on the road and looks towards bike-borne suspects and turns back with a frightened face.

In the footage, a man was also spotted talking on the mobile phone two times in the street at 6.25 am. At 6.41 am, the family of electrician Gurdeep Singh along with his brother Jaswinder Singh, who informed police of spotting torn pages, was captured entering the street.

However, tension prevailed in the area as soon as news of desecration spread in the area and activists from various Sikh organisations gathered on the spot. After getting information, inspector Bimal Kant with his team arrived on the street.
