Surjeet was produced in the court amid tight security by Nawanshahr deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Mukhtiar Rai and Rahon station house officer Gurdial Singh.

Surjeet was arrested on May 30. Nawanshahr senior superintendent of police (SSP) Snehdeep Sharma is tight-lipped on revelations made by Surjeet. Sources, however, said Surjeet’s interrogation has revealed his Haryana link. Raids are being conducted to arrest more accused, said police sources.

A separate police team is trying to reach out to other members of the outfit on Facebook.
