Punjab school education secretary Krishan Kumar has warned that any school affiliated with Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will face disaffiliation if it is found involved in copying during board examinations. He has instructed school in-charges to hold board examinations of Class 10 and 12 in a fair manner.

To ensure that students should not be put to inconvenience, the secretary said the examination centres will be made within three-km radius, so that they are not required to travel too far to reach the centres.
The practical examination for the students will be conducted in their own schools. But if the strength is less than 20 in a school, the practical will be held in some other school, he added.
Meanwhile, the education department has also prepared a draft policy with regard to transfer of teachers posted in government schools. The policy has been uploaded on the education department website and suggestions have been sought from public on the policy within 15 days.
