The 87 Battalion of the Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday caught a Pakistani national at the border outpost (BOP) Dal near the international boundary fence in Khemkaran.

Mohammad Naveed, a resident of Nachhatar village in Pakistan’s Kasoor district, was allegedly going somewhere on his bike and by mistake crossed the zero line around 2.30pm. As nothing objectionable was found from his possession during the checking, after negotiating the matter with Pakistan rangers, the BSF officials handed him over to them.

The BSF had nabbed a Pakistani national on April 25 for carrying out reconnaissance for Pakistan-based drug smugglers.
