Barring a few, none of the ATMs were operating in Panchkula as HT witnessed the situation at 1:30 pm on Monday.
The HT team found the ATMs of Yes Bank, SBI and HDFC closed in Sector 6 and Sector 8.
However at sector 11, ICICI ATM had a long queue spilling up to the road and was the only ATM functional in the market.
The ATMs of Yes Bank, Corporation Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Vijaya Bank, Bank of Baroda and Syndicate Bank were also found non-operational.
It was also found that only Axis bank ATM was operational in sector 10, Panchkula while those of IndusInd bank, SBI, Canara bank and central bank of India were not working.
