With an objective to provide a chance to students who got compartment or could not score up to their expectations in Class-10 board examinations, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to hold an improvement of performance (IOP) examination from July 16 to 23.

The IOP examination for those who gave the Class-12 board examinations is scheduled to be held on July 16. Last year, the board reduced the number of attempts for IOP from five to one for Class 10. So, now, students would get only one chance to enhance their performance. However, Class-12 students will get three chances instead of five now.
The board, in its latest circular, mentioned that the results of IOP examinations for Class 12 was likely to be declared in the second week of August. However, for Class 10, the same would be declared in the third week of August.
