Teshali Mittal , a student of Sacred Heart Higher Secondary Convent School, Jamalpur, Sector 39, has topped the district in the Class-10 Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exams, results of which were declared on Wednesday.
She scored 97.2% (486/500 marks) in the examination.
Continuing their good show in board examinations this year, girls once again clinched the top three positions in the ICSE Class-10 exams. Taranjit Kaur scored 96.2% (486/500) marks to bag the second position, while Mehakdeep Kaur scored 96.2% (481/500) marks to stand third. Both the girls are also students of Sacred Heart Higher Secondary Convent School, Jamalpur, Sector 39.
This the first time since 2008 that girls clinched all three positions in district. Besides Sacred Heart, Sat Paul Mittal School, Dugri; Sacred Heart Convent School, Bhattian; and Ram Lal Bhasin Public School, Dugri, are affiliated with the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination in Ludhiana.
