His family members along with others came to the school on Tuesday to seek action against the offenders.

When not listened to properly, they got enraged and held a demonstration against the principal and the staff. A protest was also held in front of the city police station which is just yards away from the school. On the assurance of a criminal case against the accused, the mob dispersed.

The boy revealed that during recess on Monday when he was playing with his friends, three boys of senior classes took him to a vacant room on the upper storey of the building and abused him.

He alleged that his friends followed him but were chased away by the seniors. He said the accused threatened to kill him if he reported the incident to anyone.

Victim’s father, a resident of Jagirpura Colony, alleged that the principal did not take the matter seriously when his son had complained to him yesterday and let off the offenders after a mild reprimand. He added that the principal did not give a patient hearing to the delegate that met him in the morning in this regard.
