Stand-up Punjabi comedian Ravinder Bhardwaj, aka Ghora (40), and his teenage son were killed in an accident on the Hoshiarpur-Chandigarh road late on Wednesday.

They were returning to their village Thuana in Mahilpur in their Ford Ikon, which collided with a loaded truck near Badesron. Both died on the spot.

Garhshankar deputy superintendent of police Gurmail Singh and station house officer Jatinder Singh reached the spot and got the bodies shifted to the civil hospital.
A case was registered against the truck driver who fled after the accident.
Ghora was a teacher in a school in Farala village, while his son Ritik was a student of Delhi Public School, Chabbewal.
