The Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee has constituted the Hamirpur (city) unit with Manoj Sharma elevated to the post of president. It has ten vice-presidents and seven general secretaries and a jumbo list of secretaries and executive members.
Naresh Chauhan, the party spokesman said that Pavan Chhindi, Devi Dass Shahnshah, Anil Chaudhry, Ramesh Lord, Radha Rani, Rajeev Verma, Kaushlya Gill, Yashpal Sharma and Sudershna Bhardwaj have been appointed as vice presidents.
Surinder Verma, Manorma Lakhanpal, Shashi Sharma, Shiv Raj Singh, Kartar Singh Rangra, Puran Katoch and Balraj Patyal would be the general secretaries, while Rattan Chand, Rajni Verma, Kiran Kumari, Jai Lal Dhiman, Dina Nath, Dinesh Gautam, Sanjeev Thakur, Swapan Chaudhry, Pankaj Sharma, Nisha katoch, Ashish Uppal, Amit Thakur, Kuldip Rana, Munish Prabhaakar, Pankaj Minhas and Amit Patyal would be secretaries.
Raj Kumar has been appointed as cashier. In addition to this, 15 members of the executive and special invitees have also been added to the committee.
President of the district Congress committee and all members of the block Congress committee would also be its members.
