Cops' laxity leaves a yawning gap

Regardless of the police plans to streamline traffic in the city, chaos prevails on the roads.Nary a cop is on the busy intersections to check safety-rule violation such drivers' jumping red light, speeding and overloading. Bedlam is the order of the day on most city roads, a few traffic policemen that are out turning a blind eye to the breaking of rules.
