The teaching is being organised on request of the Mongolian followers. An audience of about 4,000, including Tibetans, visitors from 49 countries and almost 600 Mongolians, are attending the teachings.

“I often refer to Tibet, Mongolia and China as three great Asian empires of the ancient world. We Tibetans and Mongolians have a longstanding historical connection, a link that extends beyond common Buddhist interests,” said the Dalai Lama on the Day1 of the teaching, adding that Dalai Lama too were Mongolian words.

The Dalai Lama said it was important that both the teacher and the listeners should cultivate a good motivation.
