Decomposed body of woman found in vacant plot

A pack of stray dogs was feasting on a decomposed body of an unidentified woman found at a vacant plot near Katani Kalan village in Ludhiana on Saturday morning.
The local police suspected that the deceased was burnt to death and killers might have dumped the body.
The Katani Kalan police received the information from the police control room that the body of an unidentified woman was spotted in a vacant plot in the same village.
The police rushed to the spot and the body was sent to the civil hospital for the post-mortem examination.
The police said that they had registered a case of murder against unidentified persons. They said that it seemed the deceased was burnt to death as she had burn injuries on her body.
