Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday announced the launch of e-stamping of property registration from March 15.

Khattar also announced that a CM dashboard would be set up to facilitate monitoring of all departments online. He said a new scheme ‘Swahprerit Adarsh Gram Yojana’ would be started to ensure public participation in the development of villages.

Khattar made these announcements after formally inaugurating the system of e-registration of properties in all tehsils across the state. The e-registration aims at bringing transparency in the registration of deed documents and check corruption by eliminating the role of middlemen.

E-stamping of property registration would facilitate online registration and make the process completely transparent, hassle-free and secure. The online system of e-stamping would be implemented in all tehsils by June, the chief minister said.

The scheme will be launched on the pattern of Adarsh Gram Yojana under which any individual group, trust, educational institute and universities can adopt villages for the purpose of development.
The chief minister also directed the deputy commissioners (DCs) to speed up registration of mutation cases on a priority basis. The government has decided to open 1,500 common service centres by March next year and also asked the DCs to complete all formalities required for giving logistic support in villages such as space, power connectivity and forest clearance, etc.
