Finance minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa said that the sectors such as health, education and industry will get priority in the budget for 2015-16 and the budget will have benefits for all sections of society.
Talking to mediapersons on the sidelines of a rally organised by the Youth Akali Dal (YAD), Dhindsa said that the SAD-BJP government has decided to work for all sections of society.
However, addressing the rally organised by Harpal Singh Juneja, SAD's Malwa zone II in-charge, the finance minister targeted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) instead of the Congress, saying, "The internal fighting within the AAP has come to the fore soon after the party came to power in Delhi, and its senior leaders are fighting with each other for the top posts in the party."
He appealed to youths to join the YAD, saying, "Youths of the state will play a vital role in the assembly elections of 2017, you need to work together for the SAD, as the SAD is the only party of the state which has given due respect to the youth."
He also credited contribution of youth for the party's victory in the recently-concluded civic body polls in the state. "The young party workers had worked day and night to ensure the party's win in the civic body polls in the state, and now they need to start working for assembly elections," he added.
Earlier, speaking on the occasion, Harpal Singh Juneja, appealed to youths of Sangrur to make people aware about the welfare policies initiated by the SAD-BJP government in the state.

He also assured all support to the young cadre of the party, saying, "No doubt, the youths had played a key role in the party's victory in the last assembly elections, and if you work again to realise the dream of deputy chief minister Sukhbir Badal by bringing the SAD in power for the third time, you will get your due as per your capability."
