Even after 24 hours, no clue about kidnapped property dealer's son

The city police have failed to get any clue about seven years old Gurdeep Singh Gopi, son of a property dealer who was kidnapped by unknown car-borne on Sunday evening at Lateefpura near GTB Nagar on Sunday evening.

The city police have failed to get any clue about seven years old Gurdeep Singh Gopi, son of a property dealer who was kidnapped by unknown car-borne on Sunday evening at Lateefpura near GTB Nagar on Sunday evening.

Various police teams have been entrusted by police commissioner to trace out minor boy and to arrest kidnapper.

A senior police official said that we have been checking records of property business of Gopi's father and his recent property dealings carried out. He further added that family has not received any ransom call and entire incident has turned focus on its nearer persons.

The police have been suspecting the role of a known person to Gopi and his sketches have been circulated among entire state to nab him.

The police have picked up several persons in this regard for questioning but no avail.

Police commissioner Yurinder Singh Hayer said that investigations are still on and we have yet to get any clue about him.

Shocked, Manpreet rushed to her house and informed her father Satnam Singh who informed the police.

Gopi's family members said Manpreet could recognize the kidnapper as she had seen him at her father's shop.

Residents of the locality said the kidnapper was seen clicking Gopi's picture a few days at the park. They claimed that the suspect was also seen in the locality last week.

An alert has been sent to all police stations and posts in the city and heavy police force has been deployed at the entrance points to trace the kidnapper.
