At the exhibition, the artifacts prepared by students of Classes 3 to 5 were showcased with a message to the visitors to adhere to the mantra of 'reduce, reuse and recycle'.

The exhibition showcased artifacts prepared by students employing 10 different skills - art, sculpture, pottery, recycled craft, needle work, calligraphy, origami, cooking and cartooning.

Principal Rajiv Kumar Sharma said the aim of the exhibition was to urge people to be judicious in their use of natural resources. "The art objects on display were prepared with the help of recycled material," he said.

He maintained that the students should be exposed to various nuances of art right from the early stage. "They should be taught to use recycled material to inculcate aesthetic sense in them and curb wastage," he said.
