Faridkot kidnapping: Judicial remand of accused extended

The chief judicial magistrate (CJM) has extended the judicial remand of all 20 accused involved in Shruti abduction case. All the accused including main accused Nishan Singh, his mother Navjot Kaur, SAD leader Dimpy, Rajwinder Singh Ghali and Kulwinder Kaur, were produced in the CJM court on the expiry of their judicial remand on Saturday.

All the accused including main accused Nishan Singh, his mother Navjot Kaur, SAD leader Dimpy, Rajwinder Singh Ghali and Kulwinder Kaur, were produced in the CJM court on the expiry of their judicial remand on Saturday.

The court extended the judicial remand of all the accused upto December 15.

Meanwhile, the bail application of Kulwinder Kaur, one of the accused, was dismissed by the court.

However, the Joint Action Committee had also submitted a memorandum to the Faridkot SSP, demanding an independent and impartial enquiry of the kidnapping case before filing challan in the court.
