FIR registered against driver of Haryana CM's pilot car

An FIR has been registered against driver of pilot vehicle of Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar's convoy, who ran over a pedestrian late Monday.

An FIR was registered against driver of pilot vehicle of Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar's pilot vehicle at Taraori Police Station for running over a pedestrian on Monday night.

The driver, who has been identified as Virender Singh, was also injured in the mishap.

Meanwhile, victim has also been identified as Satpal, a resident of Takhana village. The victim worked as a daily wager and was the only breadwinner for his family. He is survived by four children.

Two policemen in the CM's pilot vehicle also sustained injuries in the accident that took place near Taraori, about 20-km from Karnal, when Khattar was travelling to New Delhi from Chandigarh.
