Fire breaks out at HDFC Bank branch in Phase 7

The ground floor was gutted in which 15 computers were burnt.

The building of HDFC bank in Phase 7 in SAS Nagar was gutted on Monday after fire was reported at 11.15 am by a security guard. Tragedy was averted as it was a holiday due to Eid.

Two fire tenders were pressed in service to douse the flames . The entire ground floor was gutted in which 15 computers were also burnt.

HDFC officials said the lockers in basement are safe and the currency in the two ATMs on the first floor was also saved from the inferno.
