Five-day-old girl abandoned in Shivpuri plot handed over to NGO

A five-day-old baby girl, who was recently found abandoned in a vacant plot in Shivpuri, was handed over to NGO Swami Ganga Nand Bhuriwale International Foundation members at Ludhiana Civil Hospital on Saturday.

NGO member Arvind Kumar said, “The girl was found lying in a vacant plot. Following which, the police admitted her to the civil hospital. After taking deputy commissioner's permission, we took the baby to SGB Bal Ghar being run by the NGO at Dham Talwandi Khurd.”

Earlier, a five-day-old male baby, who was abandoned at Pangura installed by the Red Cross Society, was also handed over to the NGO.
