Four injured as bus, truck collides

A major tragedy was averted when a PRTC bus and a truck collided near Gill village leaving four people injured in the incident on Saturday. The injured were admitted to the civil hospital. The over speeding truck first collided with a Punjab Roadways Transport Corporation bus, which was on its way to Hisar, and then hit the divider.

While three injured were discharged from the hospital, the fourth is still under treatment with serious injuries. The truck driver was also badly injured in the incident. ASI Balbir Singh at police post Marado said the police would register a case after receiving a complaint from victims.
