Free crash course for govt school students from March 30

The students of as many as 46 government schools of Class 12 would be provided free crash course classes at four government schools of the district. The crash course will start from March 30 till May 8 to prepare the students to face competitive examinations related to engineering and medical streams.

The students of as many as 46 government schools of Class 12 would be provided free crash course classes at four government schools of the district. The crash course will start from March 30 till May 8 to prepare the students to face competitive examinations related to engineering and medical streams.

These four government schools are- Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Samrala; Government Secondary School, Raikot; Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Jagraon; and Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Jawahar Nagar.

Talking to Hindustan Times, district science supervisor Pradeep Kapoor said Punjab education minister Daljit Singh Cheema has directed the department to organise free crash course for the Class 12 students. "Most of the students who are studying in government schools can't afford private coaching so now they can opt for free crash course for competitive examination. The lecturers will train the students from 9.30am to 1pm,"he said.

If students attend free classes, they can get better ranks in the competitive exams. "We are just making efforts so that maximum students can take benefit of this course.
