Mahila Congress Ludhiana, president Leena Taparia said that they are opposing the statement given by the BJP minister against Sonia Gandhi.

She said, “Giriraj has shown his poor mentality against women. He has insulted all the women. It is also insult of Indian culture that teaches to give respect to every woman. Giriraj cannot be forgiven as he passed a racist comment.”

The congress members demanded from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Giriraj should be removed from union minister for his anti woman remarks.

They said that if a minister disrespects women by passing indecent comments then the government should take serious action against him so that nobody could pass such remarks against women.

It is required to mention here that Giriraj Singh, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Nawada in Bihar, made the remarks after an interaction with the media at Hajipur, 20 km north of Patna on Tuesday.
