Govt invites bids for illegal colonies’ survey

Haryana government has invited expression of interest (EOI) for conducting a survey of unauthorised colonies which fulfill the criteria laid down in the Haryana Management of Civic Amenities and Infrastructure Deficient Municipal Areas (Special Provisions) Amendment Act, 2014.

Haryana government has invited expression of interest (EOI) for conducting a survey of unauthorised colonies which fulfill the criteria laid down in the Haryana Management of Civic Amenities and Infrastructure Deficient Municipal Areas (Special Provisions) Amendment Act, 2014. An urban local bodies department spokesman said the state government has notified the Haryana Management of Civic Amenities and Infrastructure Deficient Municipal Areas (Special Provisions) Amendment Act, 2014 on April 1, 2014 vide which the cut-off date for surveying of the colonies to declare the civic amenities and infrastructure deficient municipal areas has been fixed as January 1, 2014 to provide essential services in such areas.

The spokesman said the department has asked all the officers concerned have been directed that a survey may be got conducted in this regard and the information be sent to the office of the department within 15 days.
