Deputy commissioner Abhinav Trikha here on Saturday flagged off a Red Cross vehicle carrying relief material to the earthquake-hit Nepal.

The relief material included 35 tents and 500 blankets donated or collected by Gurdaspur Red Cross Society, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and philanthropists from across the district.
