The march started from the PSEB office here at Operation Circle D and culminated at mini-secretariat. During the march the protesting employees raised anti-administration and pro-union slogans.

"As are delivering our duties the way we are supposed to, the government needs to think about our welfare too. You cannot take employees for granted," vice-president, HSEB Union, Dileep Soni said.

He said similar marches were being organised in all districts of Haryana on Tuesday to make the government aware of the employees' issues.

Later, a delegation of employees handed over their charter of demands to the deputy commissioner. Their demands include restoration of ex-gratia policy of 1995, removal of anomalies in their salaries and regularisation of all the temporary, casual, part-time and contractual employees.

Besides, they are also demanded that their pay scale should be done on the pattern of the Punjab electricity board.

HSEB is affiliated with Haryana Karamchari Mahasangh.
