Recalling his ordeal, he said he saw two trapped persons die before him. "I had left all hopes of getting out of the collapsed building. I was continuously crying for help. It was at about 4pm on Tuesday when rescue workers could hear my cries and spotted me. At that time, I had the feeling that I will be saved," said Sanjeev, who hails from Sidhwalia village in Gopalganj district of Bihar.

Finally, he was brought out at 1am on Wednesday and admitted in civil hospital. He was grateful to his rescuers.

Narrating the happenings, Yadav told, "I was working on cutter machine on the ground floor. As I was on way to nearby room on the same floor for bringing raw material when I met Bhagwan Das and Vinod. As we began talking, the building started collapsing. Within a few seconds, the whole structure collapsed. We didn't even get the time to run away. I took shelter under a machine to protect myself from debris," he said.
