Reacting to Yoga guru Ramdev’s of fer to mediate between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), AAP leader Kumar Vishwas has said it seems that Ramdev is trying too hard to project himself as the middleman between political parties.

Ramdev had recently claimed that the AAP had lost its way on issues and was looking for chances to merge with the saffron party. He offered to mediate between them, if rookie party was willing.

Kumar Vishwas was here on Sunday to take out a road show from Bahadurgarh to Lakhan Majra in support of party’s Rohtak nominee Naveen Jaihind. Vishwas claimed that if Naveen Jaihind gets elected from Rohtak by beating Congress candidate Deepender Singh Hooda, then Naveen would be projected as chief ministerial candidate of the party.

On the prospects of the AAP in Haryana, he said the question is not about how many seats his party can win, the point is to awaken people against rampant corruption and lavish lifestyle of the politicians of the Congress and BJP, while public is made to suffer for basic amenities. Training gun son CM Bhupinder Hooda and Congress nominee Deepender Hooda, he said despite Deepender having money to back him, the son of a small-time farmer Naveen Jaihind is getting huge response.
