IGP records statement of witnesses to Ludhiana killings

Inspector General of Police Ishwar Singh has again recorded the statements of witnesses to the killings of two brothers, Jatinder Singh and Harinder Singh, residents of Ahluwalia Colony in Jamalpur.

Inspector General of Police Ishwar Singh has again recorded the statements of witnesses to the killings of two brothers, Jatinder Singh and Harinder Singh, residents of Ahluwalia Colony in Jamalpur.

The brothers were gunned down in their house on September 27, reportedly be a team of policemen and some others, A SAD leader Gurjit Singh and three other cops had been arrested in connection with the killings.

On Thursday, the statement of Harry, the resident of the house opposite the house where the killings took place was recorded. The IGP also recorded the statement of a woman Asha, who lives next to the house where the killings took place. The policemen, who had executed the murder, had reportedly jumped from the roof of Asha’s house to enter the house where the brothers were living as tenants.

It is pertinent to mention that Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Varesh Kumar Bhawra and IGP Ishwar Singh have been investigating the matter.
