Along with party workers, she sought votes for him in the localities. The party has planned her road show here on Sunday.

Interacting with mediapersons, this physically challenged dance star said that she has joined AAP as she feels that it's a party with honest people and is giving chance to aam aadmi (common man) to come forward in politics and clean up the system.

She said that drug trafficking in Punjab and the corruption are the main issues during the parliament elections in the state.

She regretted that that there was a wide gap between the rich and poor in the country which was the real cause of concern.

"To trudge the path of truth and honesty is not so easy. There will be several hardships in that path and we in AAP are ready to follow that path," she said.

On her future plans, she said that she has got a lead role in a Punjabi and a Bollywood movie and will concentrate on these assignments.

In addition to this, she has planned to open a dance academy in Mohali where she aims to provide dance training to children, especially physically challenged.

Importantly, no big leader of AAP has yet joined the campaign of party candidate in this politically sensitive parliamentary constituency.
