In Ambala, Sushma talks Narendra Modi

Senior BJP leader and the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj campaigned for BJP candidate from Ambala Rattan Lal Kataria on Saturday. Addressing a rally at the HUDA Sector 8 grounds, here, she claimed that the party’s declaration of Narendra Modi as the prime ministerial candidate had given it a clear edge.

Senior BJP leader and the leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj campaigned for BJP candidate from Ambala Rattan Lal Kataria on Saturday. Addressing a rally at the HUDA Sector 8 grounds, here, she claimed that the party’s declaration of Narendra Modi as the prime ministerial candidate had given it a clear edge.

“The UPA government’s second term has been characterised by corruption. Then the files related to the Coalgate scam went missing from the prime minister’s office,” she alleged.

“It is ironical that the biggest beneficiary of the wrong policies in coal block allocation, Naveen Jindal, has been fielded by the Congress from Kurukshetra,” she alleged. “The NDA will win all 10 seats and my seat will be the 11th as I won my first election from here in 1977,” she claimed.

Party president Ram Bilas Sharma, MLA Anil Vij, party nominee Rattan Lal Kataria and former MLAs Jasbir Mallur, Veena Chibber, Kanwar Pal and Fakir Chand Aggarwal also addressed the rally.

HELICOPTER SNAG CAUSES 4-HOUR DELAY
Swaraj, who had reached the rally four hours late, claimed that her helicopter was not given clearance and the company refused to arrange transport and finally travelled to the venue in a private plane.
