In the non-medical stream, Sahil Ahuja of Yadavindra Public School, SAS Nagar, topped the tricity with 95.7%. In medical, Anureet Kaur of St Xavier’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, got the first rank with 93%. Gureet Kaur Bala, also of Strawberry Fields, topped the tricity in commerce with 92.8%.

“It’s an affirmation of efforts by everyone, students, teachers and parents,” said Atul Khanna, director of Strawberry Fields, “Having said that, I’d add that we must look at the performance landscape a little more closely. Beyond the layer of toppers are multiple levels of performance barometers wherein different students have outperformed themselves and the expectations of those around them.”

Anoushka chimed in, “I was waiting for the results as I am going abroad now for further studies. Scoring the same percentage as Nayantara’s — the best feeling!”
