Jalandhar boy secures 22nd rank in AIPMT

Harkaran Shergil, a student of Apeejay School, Jalandhar, has secured 22nd rank in the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) and 5th position in the state.

Harkaran Shergil, a student of Apeejay School, Jalandhar, has secured 22nd rank in the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) and 5th position in the state.

Harkaran’s father Hariqbal Shergil is a lawyer and mother Monika Shergil an engineer.

"My only wish after appearing in the examination was to enroll in a reputed college. But it has really surprised me,” Harkaran said.
As many as four students have made it to the top-40 list from the city. Lavdeep Singh Dhingra, a student of MGN School, secured overall second rank while Bisman Singh of the same school got 18th all-India position and third in Punjab.

Kanav Khanna has secured overall 36th position while and 10th in the state.
