Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of a new block at Malaudh, Maluka said that after failing to deliver on promises made during political rallies, Kejriwal had lost public confidence in Delhi. The political slugfest in the state is assuming greater significance as Delhi chief minister Kejriwal, after hogging limelight while sounding the poll bugle at the Maghi mela rally at Muktsar, is again on a five-day visit to Punjab.

He further said that the AAP did not have a CM face in the state and the required political machinery to win upcoming assembly elections in 2017.While raising questions over Kejriwal’s claims, Maluka said, “People of Punjab cannot expect much from a leader like Kejriwal who shares proximity with the prime accused of 1984 anti-Sikh riots Jagdish Tytler. He has lied to the people of Delhi by not delive Malaudh, Ludhiana ring on the promises made prior to elections and that’s what he is trying to replicate in Punjab as well, but his motives would never bear any fruit.
