Mann was talking to mediapersons on the occasion of the annual day function of the Punarjot school for special children here. He was chief guest on the occasion.

Asked about a pro-Khalistani poster being circulated on the social media purported to be issued by the AAP, Mann said, “On social media, there are all sorts of morphed and photoshopped images. You can see pictures of even Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi dancing together. You should distinguish whether it came from a trusted source or not.” Mann denied that he had said that his party would not allow Akalis in the AAP fold.

Mann said the AAP would not go for an alliance with any other party, but he did not rule out the possibility of the merger of other parties with the AAP.

School principal Santosh Chadha got appreciations from the speakers for her dedication towards the children with special needs. Students of Sarva shiksha abhiyan resource centres at Mehal Kalan, Barnala and Shaina, Sahyog School Sangrur, Bibi Bhani School Longowal also presented their items.
