Even three days after the abduction of a 14-year-old girl by three brothers from outside her house in this district, the police are yet to find her or arrest two kidnappers Amandeep and Dara Singh.

The Kathgarh police had arrested one accused, Manjeet Singh on Saturday.

Gurvinder Singh, station house officer of Kathgarh Police Station, said the police were continuing raids at the houses of relatives of the accused and in other districts.

"Police teams have been sent to various places after studying the call details of the accused brothers," he said. "They would be caught soon.

Dharam Pal, the girl's father, told the police that around 5am on Thursday, she went to dump garbage outside Haddobet village in Balachaur sub-division, but did not return home. He and his relatives searched for her, but could not find her.

Dharam said the brothers had kidnapped his daughter to take revenge after a quarrel with him a few days ago over an issue in the village.
