BJP candidate Kirron Kher shored up her lead to 40,142 votes at the end of 12th of 18 rounds, inching close to victory pedestal for Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat.
The Bollywood celebrity Kher was ahead of four-time Congress MP and former Union railway minister Pawan Bansal while Aam Aadmi Party’ Gul Panag, also a model-actor-tured-politicians was lagging behind on the third place.
