When the graffiti project began, there was only one artist associated with it but now the number of artists has increased to seven. These artists have been working hard to get the “graffiti capital” tag for Ludhiana.

Presently, 25-year-old Shivam Pahwa is working on the side walls of the bridge near the bus stand in Model Town while the wall towards KMall is complete.

Artist Jasveer Mahi is working on graffiti at the Lodhi Club underpass and Samrala chowk. Aarti Bhalla, another artist, is working on grafitti at the Lodhi Club underpass and two pillars at Pakhowal road.

Artist Suraj has taken charge of the Honda Traffic Park, Dholewal chowk and the side wall of Sidhwan canal.

Two more artists, William and Kewal Krishan, who are new to the project, are working on graffiti on Gill chowk bridge and two pillars at Pakhowal Road.

Beautification work at Aarti Chowk, Samrala chowk and Mini Fountain chowk has already kicked off. “We will honour these artists to encourage them for the work they have been doing. We hope that they continue with more designs across the city,” commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said.
