Ludhiana village flies kite with Aamir Khan

Residents of Gujjarwal village here on Thursday were pleasantly surprised as film actor Aamir Khan indulged in kite flying.

Residents of Gujjarwal village here on Thursday were pleasantly surprised as film actor Aamir Khan indulged in kite flying.

Khan, who is shooting for his upcoming film ‘Dangal’ in the village took out time to fly kites on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.

Spotted on one of the rooftop, the word spread around the village and people came out on to their rooftops top catch a glimpse of the star.

The actor acknowledged the whistling, clapping and waves of people. The director of the movie, Nitesh Tewari, was also present with Khan.

In no time, there were many kites dotting the sky as excitement and enthusiasm was writ large among the youngsters.

“It was such a great experience to see Aamir Khan flying kites in our village and how he acknowledged our excitement for him. It was an unforgettable experience for me,” said Amanpreet Singh, a college student from the village.

Amanpreet added that as he started flying kites, many more youngsters took to flying kites as well. Social networking sites were abuzz with pictures of Khan. Later, the actor also shared a picture with a message on his official facebook page.
