a massive protest at Chandni Chowk where they burnt the minister's effigy.

The protesters demanded that in the wake of the "revelations" of drug smuggler Jagdish Bhola, either the state government arrest Majithia or order a CBI probe. "If the police can arrest 50 persons after being named by Bhola, then why not Majithia?," they said.

The activists said that if the government failed to order a CBI probe against Majithia or arrest him, the Congressmen would launch a massive agitation, which would start with the Punjab Bandh on January 16.
