Supreet Singh of Chatha village in this district was arrested on Sunday on a charge of shooting down a youth at Parowal village in Gania Ke Banger police jurisdiction on July 14. Police also had seized a Chinese pistol, a magazine and some cartridges from him, senior superintendent of Batala police Suinderjit Singh Mand said here on Sunday.
