The police have arrested a man with 1.5kg of opium near Madoke village in this district on Thursday. Partap Singh, in-charge, CIA staff, said the police had received a tip-off that an opium smuggler had entered the Mehna area for selling opium.

"We raided many places and arrested Geva Ram of Ratian in Jodhpur district in Rajasthan. The police have registered a case against the accused," said Partap Singh.
