The accused, Feroze Khan, a resident of Iqbal Singh Nagar of Basti Jodhewal area, has been booked for abducting and selling his newborn grandson to a Delhi-based couple. The accused is at large. The police have launched a manhunt to arrest the accused and recover the child.

The woman, Noori (21), had told the police that she gave birth to a boy at Satyam Hospital on Shingar Cinema road on April 3. She had alleged that her father, Feroze Khan, along with a nurse of the hospital, Anita Choudhary, abducted her child on April 10.
