Mata Gujri College wins inter-college wrestling

Mata Gujri College won the inter-college wrestling championship (girls) organised by the Punjabi University at Guru Kashi College, Talwandi Sabo.

13 teams from various colleges participated in the 51kg, 55kg and 59kg categories. Sonia of BA part 1, Raj Kaur of journalism and mass communication department and Kulwinder Kaur of BA-II won gold in their respective categories. Amanjot Kaur and Gagan of BA-III won bronze in the 63kg and 67kg categories respectively.

Principal Jatinder Singh Sidhu congratulated the winners and their coach Rajbir Singh and also assured full support to the sports persons.
